PROFILE

Born in Bursa, Turkey in 1983. After my graduation from Istanbul Technical University as an architect in 2007, I gained a master of architecture degree from Architectural Design Computing graduate program of ITU in 2010. The objective of my master thesis is to develop a model which is based on the reflection phenomenon of sound as input data to generate form in an early design phase.

Since 2006, I have been working in many architectural projects such as hotel buildings, stadium, residential and office buildings.

I am interested in ecological design, permaculture, yoga, and nutrition. I am the creator of the blog “Introfood”.

Thesis: A Model To Generate Form by Reflection Phenomenon of Sound in Enclosed Spaces: The objective of the thesis is to develop a model, which is based on acoustic performance of a space as input data to generate form in an early design phase. The model primarily consider reflection phenomenon of sound in enclosed spaces. Through the implementation of the model, acoustic data is transformed into data of form. Thus, the model enables the generation of series of formal information.
